Happy New Year!

Updates here have been predictably light--I'm in St. Louis after all--but expect more soon.

For now, I leave you with the generic New Years' question: what should be St. Louis's New Years resolution?

That the ordinances passed for the phases of McEagle's NorthSide project include mandatory architectural surveys that identify eligible historic districts, and strict prohibition of any eminent domain usage on owner-occupied housing.

I agree that the most important task this year could be rescuing would-be casualties of NorthSide.

well, since st. louis (and not paul mckee) is funding northside, i would like st. louis (and not paul mckee) to ensure that it doesn't get effed.

That this sweet boy will return to St. Louis permanently and begin fixing some of the problems of St. Louis. If anyone can do it, you can! I know there are great things coming to St. Louis and you are going to be the front runner on them.
