Well, look what Cleveland has done!
St. Louis could definitely use light to spruce out some dreadful downtown deadweights, such as this!:

It sadly occurs to me that the stark-whiteness of the felled Century Building would have been a great canvass for light...

I love the Grand Center light project. It looks even better in person.
There are other creative solutions to boring buildings too - I've always liked this building in Milwaukee: http://www.december.com/places/mke/images/ladybug.jpg
That is really cool. And simple.
Personally, I'd really like to see something creative/artistic/whimsical done with the south facades of the Kiener parking garages. If we're stuck having to look at these monstrosities, we might as well spruce them up a little.
Completely agreed. As I've said before, I would love the Busch Stadium garages to be leveled and their former parcels given over to the "Ballpark Village" development. I really don't think there's any point in trying to put pearls on that pig.
